VALE teenagers secured gold medals for Ellesmere College Titans at the first weekend of the Shropshire Championships.
Seventeen-year-old Chloe Golding swam in the open division with Tazmin Pugh and Harry Bamforth tackling the 15 year category.
Former Pershore club swimmer Pugh, who won all nine gold medals, broke six Titans and eight county bests as well as three West Midlands short-course junior records in the 50-metre and 200m butterfly and 100m individual medley.
Her win in the 200m butterfly set a time that was fourth fastest in the United Kingdom by a 15-year-old.
She was 12th quickest in the 100m individual medley and third fastest in the 50m butterfly.
Pugh heads the county top girl performance in her age group with 72 points.
Ex-Evesham club swimmer Golding leads the open group with 67 after seven golds and a bronze, while Bamforth is third in his category following one silver and two bronzes.
