UNDER-strength Evesham & Badsey Ladies let slip a half-time lead in a 3-2 defeat at Stroud II.
With many of the squad attending the wedding of a team-mate, the visitors were light on numbers and conceded the first goal in Gloucestershire.
It took a handful of saves to keep it down to one before Evesham & Badsey rallied with Lucy Malley passing to Karen Robinson who took the ball forward to find Lydia Webster to net her first goal for the club.
Webster didn’t have to wait long for the second, sweeping in to give her team the edge at the interval but the lack of bodies told in the second half as the pendulum swung and the visitors shipped two.
Evesham & Badsey remained determined not to be beaten but were unable to score another goal despite a succession of short corners.
Malley won player of the match in what was her side's first defeat of the campaign.
