EVESHAM United seems set to lose last season’s top scorer Adam Mann to play-off conquerors Swindon Supermarine.
The Wiltshire outfit has announced a verbal agreement with the 24-goal striker who had been at the Robins for three-and-a-half seasons following an initial spell on loan from Gloucester City.
Supermarine ousted United from the Southern League West play-offs 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra-time in May.
In a quirk of fate it was Mann who missed the only penalty in that shoot-out, dragging wide Evesham’s third effort in the semi-final.
Supermarine then went on to win another shoot-out to gain promotion, going through after a 0-0 draw across 120 minutes at Wimborne Town.
