YOUNG Evesham ace Aimee Lane was not put off by a tumble at the Coventry women's series 10-mile time trial.
On a fast course, the teenager was heading for a personal best on a fast course until she slipped at a roundabout about six miles in and was thrown off her bike.
Lane ripped her skin suit and damaged her bike while suffering cuts and bruises but insisted on carrying on to finish in 25 minutes 58 seconds.
After a bike fix the 14-year-old went to Pontypool for the 10-mile time trial and conquered bad conditions to do a PB for the course in 25.20.
She became the Welsh juvenile champion for a second time as a result.
