MIDLAND League Division One basement boys Littleton lost 5-0 at home to early leaders Heather St Johns.

A young side gave their all but were comfortably beaten by a good outfit who dictated the game.

The hosts held out for 13 minutes but went behind when Chris Lloyd scored from inside the box.

On the half-hour it was 2- 0 with the prolific Simeon Cobourne scoring from an acute angle.

Cobourne scored again on the stroke of half-time.

The second period saw Littleton push forward and they played intricate football but the visitors' defence handled it with calm assurance.

Further goals from Eddie Wilson and another from Cobourne to complete his hat-trick rounded off the match.

Littleton visit Stapenhill on Saturday (3pm) after visiting Studley on Tuesday (7.45pm).

They then host Coventry Copsewood on bank holiday Monday (3pm).
