- FT: Evesham United 3 (Williams 30, Turley 42, Ellington 86) Mangotsfield United 2 (Bryant 35, Britton 90+2)
- EVESHAM United had the better of this clash but were made to work until the very end by Mangotsfield.
- Paul Collicutt's men looked comfortable, particularly in the second half when they hit the woodwork twice at 2-1 up and then doubled their lead with four minutes to go.
- Substitute Louis Britton provided the nerves by applying a simple finish in stoppage time but Ashley Williams's close-range drive, Joe Turley's similar finish and Lewis Ellington's conversion of a Tyrone Tucker-Dixon centre proved enough for three points from Evesham's opening home match of the season.
- Robins: Rivers, Hancock, Humphreys, Turley, Summers, Dovey, Thomas, A Williams, Davies, Haskayne, Cory Simpson.
- Subs: Brain, Tumelty, Tucker-Dixon, Ellington, Tunnicliff.
- Mangotsfield: Clarke, S Simpson, Bloom, Hill, Warren, Mugoya-Tabingwa, Jones, Tooze, K Simpson, Bryant, Caelen Simpson.
- Subs: Gissing, J Williams, Llewellyn, Ricketts, Britton.
