THE Worcestershire Cricket League Division One title race will go to the last week of the season.

Bewdley failed to get the 12 points required from a rain-hit winning draw against Worcester and Stourport gained a maximum-point win over Hagley.

But Bewdley require just one point from their last match at Worcester Nomads on Saturday to guarantee the title.

Feckenham won at third-placed Evesham to go fifth thanks to Tom Coulson’s 7-65.

With Worcester sixth and still hopeful of qualification, Feckenham need 12 points to make next season's new county top flight.

Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social require nine points from their last match to gain the Division Two crown as Matthew Broad's 8-34 helped earn victory at Bartestree and Lugwardine.

Second-placed Coombs Wood thrashed basement boys Wormelow after posting 315-4.

Belbroughton secured third with a comfortable six-wicket victory over Kempsey.

Bromyard remained fourth after their match with Himbleton was abandoned.

Alastair Pretty scored 106 and Richard Sugden 103 not out in Himbleton's 287-2.

Phillip Thomas took 6-34 for fifth-placed Droitwich who beat Enville.

Martin Hill scored a quick 91no as Bredon defeated Worcester's Old Vigornians by seven wickets to leap into sixth place.

A short-handed OVs side were dismissed for 188 with Osman Fiaz scoring 54, Charlie Lamb 31 and Ed Burgoyne 23 while Dominic Fenney took 3-15.

Hill was aided by Oliver Cox's 65 in the successful reply.

Rushwick moved up to second in Division Three with a losing draw at home to champions Lye.

After the visitors posted 330 with Waqas Ahmed scoring 119, Phil Hamilton responded with 89 to help Rushwick gain 10 valuable points.

Netherton and Martley were abandoned while Harborne got bowled out for just 38 at Avoncroft with Paul Athey claiming 6-19 and Jonathan Hunter 4-18.

Edd Rodgers passed 1,000 runs for the season with 72 in Alvechurch and Hopwood’s rain-reduced winning draw against Hanley Castle and Upton.

Bromsgrove remained mid-table with a six-wicket victory against basement side Malvern and Will Parton took 7-59 for Eastnor as they beat Five Ways Old Edwardians by five wickets.

Halesowen are in pole position in Division Four as an unbroken first-wicket stand of 157 from Naim Luhar (90 not out) and Talha Ikhlaq (54no) guided them to a 10-wicket victory over Tenbury.

Second-placed Astwood Bank had to work hard for their two-wicket victory at West Malvern while Romsley and Hunnington remained third after Scott Robbins took 7-17 in a victory over Stourport.
