BROADWAY'S Abigail Brain secured a showjumping success in Cheshire.
She claimed the Dodson and Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round at Winsford's Southview Equestrian Centre with a speedy round of 39.04 seconds on Billy Muesli.
Twenty-seven initially contended over course designer Gillian Milner’s 11-fence, 13-effort track and 14 on-form hopefuls returned clear rounds to tackle the jump-off.
No-one could match Brain’s efforts on Billy Muesli with the seven-year-old Kannan X Animo mare answering every call to win with 0.53 seconds in hand.
