GEORGE Forsyth was our Worcester City star man in the 1-1 draw with Lye Town today. Who was yours?

DAN JEZEPH 6

Produced the fine saves that got City to the break on level terms but misjudged the lob that led to the equaliser. Another couple of wobbles weaved in with some stellar work.

TYLER WEIR 5

Found it tough to affect the game going forward and too frequently left Jordan Stoddart exposed during the first half. In his defence, he was carrying an injury.

ADAM OSBOURNE 5.5

Tried to do the positive things so often on display at Dunkirk a couple of weeks ago but seemed to lack the belief to execute them.

STAR MAN – GEORGE FORSYTH 7

Not quite at his best but dug deep and made an impact when it mattered. It was a day for rolled-up sleeves and Forsyth shirked nothing.

JORDAN STODDART 6.5

Had a torrid time with Lewis Worsey in the first half but lacked the support to deal with the situation. Like Forsyth, did everything in his power.

LUKE ENGLISH 6

Some good moments and decisive clearances but allowed the odd ball to bounce with one or two bits of questionable distribution. Had hard luck with his two chances.

MAT BIRLEY 5

Not quite in tune throughout a tough first half. Looked like he may still be carrying an injury.

CHRIS WITHINGTON 7

Charged around and tried to affect the game, deserved his goal but might have benefited from more composure in the heat of battle. Snatched at things here and there.

JORDAN HARRISON 6.5

An off day in front of goal but to his credit, kept getting in there to miss them and worked hard to link the play in a scrappy game. His deft touch made City’s goal.

KYONN EVANS 5.5

Tireless work rate without much coming off. Looks low on confidence when making decisions.

JOE BATES 5.5

Much like Evans, the effort is there perhaps without the direction at the moment. Caught some unkind bounces along the way but kept fighting.
