EVESHAM and Badsey lost 9-0 at home to East Gloucester on a hot day.
With most of the original team unavailable to play and new young members joining, Evesham went into the match with a lot of determination.
Laura Moore and Lydia Webster started promisingly but the visitors scored through a short corner and a penalty flick on their way to a 3-0 half-time lead.
Player of the match Hannah Davies, Drew Durband, Zoe Miller and keeper Pip Webster did their best at the back while new signing Charlotte Millar went close to scoring.
The goals flew in at the other end during a tough start at the higher level of West Clubs Women's League Severn Division One but Evesham did not give up.
