NORTH Cotswold Tri and Run's Claire Harrison and Dennis Walmsley were on top form at the BHF Blenheim 10k.
On a tough, undulating course, Harrison showed her marathon training was paying off by posting her second fastest 10-kilometre time in 42 minutes 10 seconds for second overall in the women's category.
Walmsley, 56, moved up from fifth place for second in 36.40.
Both are showing great promise ahead of Chester Marathon this weekend.
Steve Edwards was in Barnstaple for marathon number 842, finishing in three hours 21 minutes 58 seconds for second man over 55.
Phil and Marie Brush tackled the Oulton Park Duathlon in Cheshire.
Phil did the standard distance and finished fifth overall and second in his 35 to 39 age category in 1.46.59.
Marie won her sprint distance 40 to 44 age group in 1.12.35.
Club-mate Mike Kelly ran Cheltenham Half Marathon in 1.31.41.
