NEW Broadway ladies' captain Irene Hawkes hosted the annual drive-in.
Hawkes' tee shot flew down the middle of the fairway and Christine Saunders had estimated the distance of 134 yards.
Forty-three ladies then ventured out for their first competition of the year — a nine-hole reverse Texas scramble.
All team members drove off and then chose the worst shot for the other players to take.
The victorious four-ball were Isobella Lates, Cheryl Senior, Henrietta Cooke and Lin Everitt with 50.1 nett.
Elaine Hickin, Diana Chambers and Bev Howard brought in 48 to win the three-ball contest.
The lady captain’s charity is Campden Home Nursing where Hawkes is chairman.
