TWENTY-eight ladies from Evesham Golf Club competed for the Nora Olsen Cups.
They played a foursomes stableford in pairs with half combined handicap.
The draw paired high and low handicap players for the contest in Fladbury.
Sally Rogers and Lesley Curnock scored 25 points over 13 holes to win from Gill Smith and Dinah Wood with 22.
The ladies' annual general meeting then followed.
Outgoing lady captain Eunice Allen presented a cheque of £1,064 to Jacquie Clements from Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.
Meanwhile, 54 The Vale senior members played a three-ball par competition on a dry, bright morning. The rules awarded +1 for a nett birdie, zero for a par and -1 for a bogie.
Division One went to Mike Roberts with +2 from Patrick Staines on 0, Jim Rushworth on -1 and Rob Sharp on -2.
Richard Browning claimed Division Two with +4 from Steve Marsh on 0 and Brian Leggett and Keith Round on -1.
Nearest the pin at the Bishampton club was Martin Holland on the fifth hole.
After the competition club captain Peter Morris announced this year the three sections, men, ladies and seniors, would combine their efforts to jointly raise funds for charities the British Heart Foundation and Evesham District Mental Health Support Services.
Annabelle Carter, Lin Andrew and Chris Saunders won Broadway ladies’ three-ball stableford waltz with 68 points.
Irene Hawkes, Jan Titley and Kate Bellamy were second with 62 from Veronica Rudd, Sonia Ward and June Griffin on countback with Linda Carruthers, Pat Righton and Sheila Lawson fourth on 61.
