MALVERN Town say Worcester City target Dave Reynolds has agreed to play for them until the end of the season.

The talented goal-getter has decided to stay at the West Midlands League Premier Division club after returning following a spell at Redditch United.

Hotshot Reynolds left Midland League Premier Division side City for Redditch in the Southern League in September having notched 34 times in 54 matches in blue and white.

REYNOLDS HELPS MALVERN TO DRAW AT LEADERS

Malvern co-manager Lee Hooper said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Reyno back on board for the rest of the season.

“It is a great signing for us. He came in for last Saturday’s game at Tividale and fitted straight in with the lads.

“He enjoyed getting 90 minutes under his belt last weekend and played a key role in our goal and overall team performance.

“He’s got plenty of goals in him and a hunger to do well. With his match sharpness back I expect him to make a big impact for us.

“We go into another tough game at the weekend against Black Country Rangers (on Saturday 3pm) who are now level on points with us.

“Hopefully we can get a good crowd to cheer us on. The lads really thrive on the great support that we have been getting and we will be looking to keep our unbeaten run going.”

Local lad Reynolds is relishing his return to the HDanywhere Community Stadium.

“I am looking forward to getting back to playing regularly and enjoying my football again,” he said.

“Malvern Town is a great club and things are really starting to take off for them on and off the pitch.

“I would like to thank Lee and Dene (Whittal-Williams, co-boss) for giving me the opportunity to return and help their push for promotion.

“It was great to be back last weekend and be part of an impressive team performance and now I want to help us finish the season strongly.”
