TWO wins in four days has hauled Littleton out of the single Midland Football League Division One relegation place.
The Ton Boys had won just one out of 27 league matches heading into the weekend but victories over Brocton and Hinckley have put them in the box seat to survive.
With fellow strugglers Nuneaton Griff not getting away from the Five Acres outfit and one of berth in the drop zone effectively filled by Smithswood Firs, the club that folded before the season started, the Worcestershire outfit is on the brink of a remarkable turnaround.
EXPLAINED | How FA rules could help to save Littleton from the drop
Their last win in a season of little hope had arrived on November 17 but ex-Worcester City striker Joel Ambalu decided matters a minute before half-time on Saturday to see off Brocton 1-0.
A neat exchange of passes saw Ambalu steer a 15-yard shot just inside the post.
He then had a header clawed away before the break and Dean Fisher walloped the crossbar in the second half.
The full-time whistle was met with jubliation and that momentum was taken into Tuesday's 2-1 success at Hinckley AFC.
Fisher latched on to a blocked shot to give Littleton a warranted half-time lead.
Grant Ryan converted Tyrone Burton's cross to level for the Knitters but Dan Holloway held his nerve to score what proved to be the decisive penalty after striker Cameron Walker had been fouled.
Littleton hope to continue their upward trajectory at home to title-hopefuls Atherstone Town on Saturday (3pm).
