LITTLETON'S fine run ended when a cruel deflection with five minutes left saw visitors Leicester Road leave with a 1-0 win.
The hosts played the whole second half with 10 men following the dismissal of captain Kevin Ingram for two bookings.
Fourth-placed Road beat Littleton 5-1 earlier in the season.
The Midland League Division One game was played at a fast pace with most in the middle of the park in the first half but in the second period Littleton fell back in defence to protect a point.
In goal 18-year-old Lewis Handley, on loan from Tividale, looked a good prospect with his handling and judgement impressing throughout.
The goal was a shot from Simon Alcott in the congested penalty area which took a wicked deflection, giving the keeper no chance.
Second-from-bottom Littleton bravely tried to get back into the game and had a shot blocked on the line but really were worn out by this time.
They visit Uttoxeter Town on Saturday (3pm).
