PERSHORE Tennis Centre junior Imogen Looker has added the Midlands LTA young person of the year accolade to her Herefordshire and Worcestershire crown.
Looker has been playing at the club since the age of four and now coaches as well as turning out for the women's A team.
Since completing a leaders course, she has helped head coach Steve Bauer and his team by assisting in various classes from mini tennis to beginner wheelchair tennis.
Looker, the club women's singles champion for the past five years, recently gained her level two coaching qualification and is also part of the She Rallies team spearheaded by Judy Murray.
Despite being diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome the teenager continues to commit to six weekly hours of coaching.
Bauer said: “Imogen is hard-working, loyal and a credit to all involved at Pershore.
"From representing county teams to ladies’ club teams, Imogen's contribution as a young person is exceptional and we are very proud that she should be recognised for this by both the Herefordshire and Worcestershire LTA and the Midlands LTA as well.”
