PERSHORE Tennis Centre women's A team won the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Winter League Division One title for the first time.
They needed to win 3-1 against relegation-threatened Madley to clinch the championship but romped to a 4-0 success on their new clay courts.
Pershore won five league games with just one defeat.
Women's club captain Sarah McCormick said: βIt was an exciting win for the club. After winning the summer championship in 2017 we were determined to finally bring the winter title to our club.
"The ladies' teams at Pershore have had a great winter season with our B team winning Division Five and our C team gaining promotion out of Division Six.
"The D and E teams will finish in the middle of their respective divisions.β
