The victorious duo go forward to play in the knockout rounds against the winners from other clubs.
Meanwhile, a field of 70 The Vale seniors contested the Kirkpatrick Cup in a stableford and the Winnie Cup for the lowest gross score.
The winner of both was Gerry Clayton from Division One with 40 points and 80 gross.
Second in Division one was Mike Roberts with 38 points.
First in Division Two was Nigel Smith with 37 ahead of John Millward with 36, David Carrington with 35 and Brian Bunn with 35.
Keith Round topped Division Three with 38 from Martin Holland with 37, Mike Spittle with 35 and Keith Richards with 35.
Nearest the pin was Milward.
The third inter-club game was halved against Stratford Park with a 3-3 score.
