LITTLETON moved out of the Midland League Division One bottom two for the first time this season thanks to a 2-0 home win over Chelmsley Town.
They climbed above Nuneaton Griff and Heath Hayes in the table with a fifth win from eight games after gaining just one point from the first 15 fixtures of the campaign.
Chelmsley laid siege to Littleton's goal for the first 20 minutes with shots coming in from all angles.
Keeper Ed Cox handled well and the hosts somehow weathered the storm.
The nearest Littleton came was a drive from Joel Ambalu which grazed the bar.
But they began to have more of the play and went ahead on 43 minutes with a cross converted by Aiden Vaughan from close range.
Chances were few but Littleton were awarded a penalty on 70 minutes when Ambalu was hacked down and Dan Holloway converted his fourth spot-kick in the last five games.
Chelmsley seemed worn out by the hot sun and Littleton were happy to play out time.
Littleton see out the season at Heath Hayes on Saturday (3pm).
