EVESHAM United’s play-off bid ended as they crashed to a 4-0 defeat at Southern League Division One South leaders Blackfield and Langley on Saturday.
The loss left the Robins seven points off the top five in seventh place with just one game left after the Easter Monday fixtures.
The Hampshire hosts secured the title with three first-half goals.
Tom Bearwish fired Blackfield and Langley ahead on 14 minutes and Liam Robinson made it two just before the half-hour mark.
Fatah Makhloufi buried a penalty four minutes before half-time and Lerone Plummer got a fourth goal on 55 minutes.
Robins manager Paul Collicutt admitted: “The better team on the day won. We started reasonably well but in fairness to Blackfield and Langley they were up for it with the chance to win the league.”
