PERSHORE flexed their muscles in the Worcestershire Cricket League Premier Division.

The third-placed town side enjoyed a nine-wicket hammering of Feckenham as Stephen Miles (6-42) reduced the hosts to 81 all out.

Anees Tariq also collected two wickets as 21 extras top scored for Feckenham in 36.1 overs.

After skipper Liam Ridings fell for six, Chris Miles (37 not out) and Chris Ridings (29no) led Pershore to victory on 82-1 in just 19 overs.

Chaddesley Corbett top the table thanks to a nine-wicket beating of Evesham who collapsed to 62 all out.

Shiv Kumar (18) and 16 extras were the only double-digit scores for Evesham in a miserable 27 overs at home.

Junaid Iqbal took 4-24 and Bilal Hassan 3-14.

Mohammed Sajid (33no) steered Chaddesley home in only 9.3 overs with Kamran Abbasi claiming the only wicket to fall.

Bromyard swept aside Bredon, who were bowled out for 107 in 46.4 overs, by 10 wickets in Division One.

Tim Fenney (29) top scored for Bredon as Greg Leighton and Josh Van Rensburg shared six wickets.

Ian Bullock blasted 73 not out in Bromyard's comfortable 111-0 from 27.3 overs.

Martley are sixth in Division Three after skipper James Ganderton’s patient 75 helped them secure a winning draw at Pershore seconds with a total of 210 all out.

Jim Basford added 28 and Alec Francis 22 while Chris Holtom took 4-68.

The hosts fell just short on 207-6 after needing 19 to win from the last over with Lee Wilks on 85no and Sam Cross scoring 41.
