EVESHAM'S seniors and masters rowers collected five wins at Bridgnorth Regatta.
In damp, drizzly and blustery conditions for the round-robin 500-metre sprint event on the River Severn, Karen Gayler and Rachel Mathews won the women’s masters D category double. The women’s masters B/C double went to Mal Jablonska and Amanda Baker.
There was a novice win for Duncan Harrison in his single and he was also in the successful mixed four with Gabi Jones, Rosie Macdonald, Debbie Staite and cox Julie Foster.
The Evesham mixed masters C/D fours of Sarah Coldicott, Helen Sharpe, Phil Nicholson and Jon Phipps, coxed by Carol Lovelock, also won.
Coach Pauline Pollard said: “We are now looking forward to Ironbridge Regatta at the end of the month after brilliant results from these rowers at this stage in the season.”
