BROTHERS Chris and Liam Ridings helped Pershore Cricket Club return to form.

They scored 60 and 72 not out respectively to guide the hosts to a welcome 81-run win over high-flying Redditch in the Worcestershire League Premier Division.

George Kirby took 4-38 from 10 overs to help dismiss Redditch for just 115 in reply to seventh-placed Pershore’s 196-9.

Aditya Dhadwal (86no) carried his bat to steer mid-table Worcester to a two-wicket victory against lowly visitors Evesham after Jabran Khalid took 4-19.

Evesham were bowled out for 171 with the total boosted by 38 extras and Muhammad Saqib’s 32.

Despite 3-30 from Sadam Khan, Worcester got over the line in 38.5 overs.

Division One strugglers Bredon lost by five wickets at Pedmore after being bowled out for 181.

On Saturday, Evesham host Pershore in a Vale derby and Bredon welcome Coombs Wood (both 1pm).
