EVESHAM'S Aimee Lane was crowned West Midlands cycling champion again despite a season hit by a chest infection and a broken finger following crashes.
The young Prince Henry's High School ace, 15, made six of the eight regional races and secured the under 16s title in the final round at Solihull's Tudor Grange.
After a few time trials over various distances with some at national level, Lane then leaves the youth series for the junior women’s competition.
