PERSHORE kept their Worcestershire Cricket League Premier Division title dreams alive with a 137-run home beating of Bewdley.

Although the crown still looks like going to one of the top four, Pershore still have a chance if they can produce a strong finish.

Opener Chris Ridings' 147 not out inspired his side to victory over in-form Bewdley.

Stephen Miles added 44 in Pershore's 278-6 from 50 overs before Bewdley were bowled out for 149 despite Paul Taylor's 56no.

William Palmer took 3-28 and Matthew Brace 3-30.

Leaders Stourbridge enjoyed a 133-run victory at Worcester who were skittled for 102 in reply to 235-8.

Worcester's Aditya Dhadwal claimed 4-25.

Old Elizabethans lost by three wickets at Old Hill after the hosts reached a rain-revised 206-7 in reply to 225 all out.

Jamie Boyle scored 74 for OEs.

Ryan Derrick (4-8) and Lee Waldron (4-8) helped Stourport beat struggling Evesham by 104 runs.

Bromyard, who went up to second, defeated Division One leaders Colwall by 58 runs thanks to Ian Bullock (113) and Josh Van Rensburg (90).

Andrew Robertson scored 97 for Colwall who were bowled out for 247 after Bromyard amassed 305-7.

Third-from-bottom Worcester Nomads lost at third-placed Hagley by nine wickets.

Droitwich Spa, who were bowled out for 82, hit the foot of the table after going down at Pedmore despite Jonathan Keen's 5-40.

Division Two leaders Ombersley seconds won at Bromsgrove seconds by nine wickets.

Jack Park (55 not out), Daniel Hagger (51) and Azmat Riaz (4-24) provided vital contributions.

Himbleton were pipped by three wickets against mid-table rivals Kidderminster seconds in a rain-hit match.

Alastair Pretty scored 52 for Himbleton.

In Division Three, Old Vigornians vice-captain Joe Sullivan scored 152 in a thrilling one-wicket victory over Barnards Green seconds.

The Worcester side, who went up to second, completed one of their highest successful run chases after the Malvern side posted 324-7 in 50 overs.

Sullivan’s knock off 151 balls included 20 fours and three sixes.

He was out in the final over trying to get the winning run which was achieved by 17-year-old Amelia Kite (8no) two balls later.

Andy Wheeler (66) and James Styles (108) starred with the bat for Green with Kite taking 3-51 and Ahsan Fiaz 2-49.

Sullivan was supported by Osman Fiaz (58), Ciaran Magee (30) and Alex Parker (25) in the winning reply of 325-9.

Dan Elliott hit 104 as Avoncroft beat leaders Netherton by four wickets.

Fourth-placed Kempsey beat struggling Rushwick by 93 runs as Adam Baker scored 66, Matthew Walters 62 and Simon Dorrell 50 in their 256-8.

Steve Winstanley then took 4-34 and Dorrell 3-34 in Rushwick's 163 all out.

In Division Four, second-placed Worcester seconds fell by eight runs in a rain-reduced match at Bewdley seconds in fourth.

High-flying West Malvern thrashed local rivals Malvern by 109 runs in Division Five.

Will Lloyd (58), Matthew Blatherwick-Hindmarsh (55) and Phillip Chaundy (54) starred for West with Lewis Hill (5-33 and 52) shining for Malvern.
