HOME member Kyle Wright won Broadway's juniors open with 61 nett.

Club-mate Sonny Nangle was second with 65 in the competition involving 30 eight to 18 year olds from clubs across the country.

Sam Edlin from Cotswold Hills was third with 66 ahead of home player Curtis Coane with 67.

Scott Davis got best gross with 77.

In a stableford for the 29 to 40 handicap group, Broadway’s Alex Gough won with 47 points.

Eight-year-old Tommy Sutherland claimed a nine-hole medal for the 41 to 54 handicap group with 23 nett.

The George Sloggett Trophy in a four-ball better-ball format was won by Wright's twin Ryan and Davis with 45 points.

Kyle Wright and Joe Golding were second with 44 from Nangle and Will Jones on 43 which edged out Coane and Ambrose Eaves on countback.

The ladies' Ping four-ball better-ball went to Cheryl Senior and Fran Andrews with 44 points.

Jayne Rose and Valerie Steven, Elaine Hickin and Angela Sollis and Jan Titley and Kate Bellamy all scored 41 to earn second, third and fourth respectively.

The winners go forward for qualification for the Ping National Finals at Thonock Park, Gainsborough, later in the year.
