LITTLETON’S much-anticipated West Midlands League Premier Division move proved a damp squib with a 2-1 loss at Dudley Sports.
Despite dominating for long periods, two defensive errors saw them slide to defeat in the opener.
They dominated early on with Luke Rowlands firing just wide in the first minute.
But Littleton took the lead on 12 minutes as Ben Billingham drove just inside the post from 27 yards.
A corner from Jack Pearman was headed goalwards by Cameron Walker but hacked off the line.
A shot and header hit the bar while Dudley's keeper made a diving save.
Sports pressed forward in the second half and on 70 minutes following a defensive error Liam Hickman equalised.
Another mistake on 80 minutes allowed Liam Edwards to give Dudley the lead.
Littleton hit the bar again through Billingham but they could not find an equaliser.
They host Dudley Town on Saturday (3pm).
