ROB Collard secured another podium for Bidford-on-Avon's Sterling Insurance Power Maxed Racing at Thruxton in the Kwik Fit MSA British Touring Car Championship.
He was close to a first win with second spot in race three after finishing sixth twice to sit 14th in the overall standings.
Team-mate Jason Plato, who is 10th overall, drove the Vauxhall Astra to fifth in the finale with the fastest lap to follow up 17th and 13th positions.
He was hit by a black flag for inadvertently lining up just over his grid box in the opening race.
Power Maxed Racing are fifth in the teams' championship and third for the manufacturers.
Collard said: “I'm really happy for the team with two sixths and a podium.
"It would’ve been brilliant to take our first win in the car at my home circuit but I’m leaving happy with that.”
