EVESHAM Rowing Club finished the regatta season with eight wins and the prestigious victor ludorum trophy at Ross-on-Wye.

Double Martha Bradley and Georgia Reynolds, quad Emily Jones, Georgie Banton, Martha Robbins and Katie Ham and the masters women’s eight of Liz Stranks, Tracy Goldstraw, Amanda Baker, Helen Sharpe, Karen Sexton, Carol Lovelock, Nicky Perry and Julie Foster, coxed by Rosie Macdonald, were all successful on the first day.

In a mixed junior eight the following day Jacob Organ, Banton, Sam McClenahan, Toby Haycock, Robbins, Bradley, Liv Evans and Matt Oliver, coxed by Katie Ham, added to the victories.

Quad Emily Jones, Banton, Bradley and Ham won again while Lovelock, Goldstraw, Foster and Stranks beat fellow Evesham rowers Janet Sumner, Jude Taylor, Dawn Nutton and Pat Sykes.

Macdonald triumphed in her single final while visiting ex-Evesham rowers Sophie Evans and Gilly Russell combined with Exeter University friends Paige Cox and Ella Knight in their quad for success.
