A GRANDSON and grandmother pairing won the Tony Sansone mixed trophy competition at Broadway Golf Club.
Twenty-two pairs participated in the greensomes stableford with Will Icke and Maureen Wheeler scoring 40 points to win on countback from Irene Hawkes and Neil Townshend.
John and Sonia Ward were third on countback from Stuart and Liz Smith on 39. The Mercia Castle Stableford involved 34 Broadway ladies and was won by Fran Andrews.

Seniors mixed open: 1 Louise and Barry Folkes (Broadway) 42 points, 2 Angela and Bill Sollis (Broadway) 40 on countback, 3 Kevin Carroll and Molly King-Smith 40, 4 John and Jan Lloyd (Minchinhampton) 39; best front nine: Rod and Pam Hooper (Broadway) 23; best back nine: Mark and Fredarecca Price (Bryn Meadows) 19.
