PERSHORE Phoenix claimed a first place at the last BDA National League race of the season.
They won the open 450-metre major plate final against Powerhouse and St Neots in Wath upon Dearne, South Yorkshire.
Pershore raced with a mixed crew of 18 paddlers in the faster open category for a close contest.
The women's Pershore Flyers team raced with only 12 paddlers and finished fourth.
The juniors also took a medal in their competition with Evan Small paddling to a winner’s medal.
