LITTLETON and Pershore Town enter the festive period looking to break into the West Midlands Football League Premier Division top five.
Sixth-placed Littleton have flirted with the higher places but face tough away games at promotion-chasing Wolverhampton Casuals on Saturday and at Pershore the following weekend.
The Five Acres side, whose form has been mixed in recent months, then head to Smethwick Rangers on Saturday, January 4.
Pershore are in the bottom half of the table but only two points behind Littleton having played the same number of games.
Town also have a tough away test on Saturday at high-flying Dudley Town before tackling Vale rivals Littleton at the Community Stadium and then going to Shawbury United on January 4.
Last Saturday’s home game with Casuals was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Pershore’s three-game winning run ended with a 3-0 defeat at Darlaston Town on December 7.
