EVESHAM referee Rosie Johns made history last month when she became the first female to take charge of the Evesham & District Sunday League Cup Final.

Johns was appointed for the clash played at Evesham United’s ground between Bretforton Old Boys and Mickleton Rangers.

Johns was also recently voted as Referee of the Year for the Evesham and District Sunday League at their recent AGM.

She will now also become the first referee in Worcestershire to be promoted onto the Women’s pathway level 3W.

Johns will take charge of Women's National League fixtures (Tier 3 and 4 in the Women's Pyramid) whilst continuing to progress in the male game too
