IT has all come down to the final game of the season for Pershore Town as they seek to clinch the fifth and final play-off spot in the Hellenic Football League Division One to cap off a fantastic week for the club.

Having won the Worcestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday for the first time in their history, The Plums now set their sights on Saturday morning's clash with Hereford Pegasus in the final league game of the regular season.

They know that a win will secure their place in the play-offs, and a semi-final with Worcester Raiders, regardless of other results.

Cheltenham Saracens are level on 59 points with Pershore but have a significantly worse goal difference so know they have to win against league winners Studley and hope Pershore don't to see them clinch the final spot.

Pegasus have already secured their place in the final four but despite Pershore being in the driving seat, Pershore boss Danny Janes knows it is not a foregone conclusion by any stretch.

"We said football can change very quickly," said Janes.

"It was a great win on Tuesday but it's all about Saturday now and it would top off a nice week.

"We said we wanted to win in the cup last week, in the final on Tuesday and then again on Saturday.

"We want to make it three from three so now let's go for it on Saturday."
