EVESHAM United look set to sign former Cheltenham Town and Coventry City young midfielder Aaron Evans-Harriott ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Worcester born 19-year-old became the youngest player to feature in a Football League match for Cheltenham back in 2019 (16 years of age) when he made an appearance in the EFL Trophy match against West Ham United Under 21s.

Then in February 2020, a transfer fee was agreed to take him from The Robins and to Coventry in the EFL Championship.

The former Welsh under 15 international had not made a senior appearance for The Sky Blues, but has played a number of games at under 23 level.

And now he looks set to join new manager Mike Ford at Evesham in the Southern League Division One South for the 2022/23 campaign.

The news of Evans-Harriot's arrival comes just a day after the club announced that the experienced former Gloucester City midfielder Chris Knowles has joined The Robins.
