PERSHORE Town are going in search of their fourth trophy in two seasons on Tuesday night when they play the second-leg of the Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup Final against Mangotsfield United.

Having drawn the first-leg 0-0, it's a winner takes all match for both Pershore and Step 5 Mangotsfield under the lights at the Community Stadium.

Plums boss Danny Janes has already led his side to three trophies since he took over half-way through last season. They lifted the Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup, Hellenic League Supplementary Cup and the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup in a memorable 21/22 campaign.

Now they go in search of another trophy to add to their growing cabinet but again Pershore will be underdogs, not that Janes minds that at all.

"The second leg is nicely poised after the first leg last week and I am sure both teams fancy their chances of lifting the trophy," said Janes.

"I felt we were the better team last week in terms of control of the game and chances, but we never converted those chances so it counts for nothing.

"We will approach the game with the same mindset, to dominate the ball and to control the game. I am looking forward to the approach Mangotsfield implement this time around, they are the favourites for this game due to their league status so it will be interesting to see if they go toe to toe with us."

It could yet be another trophy-laden season for The Plums, with the Hellenic League Division One title and promotion to Step 5 in their sights. They also play in the last-eight of the Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup on Saturday away at Fairford Town as they look to progress in another cup tournament.
