LEVI Steele was the only scorer for Evesham United, as they fell to a 3-1 pre-season defeat against Redditch United.
Danny King and Tyler Bruck bagged for Redditch, alongside a trialist.
Kick-off was underway and Redditch were ahead within a minute, when the high press saw the ball fall to Danny King who slotted home past Alex Harris.
It was a positive start for the hosts as Joe Hull had a close header saved, before Dexter Dudley-Toole had an effort deflected for a corner.
Liam Loughlan was forced off with injury in the 26th minute and was replaced by a trialist.
Evesham were looking to grow in the game as they pressed high and broke the lines with some quick-short passing, and a low cross from the right just evaded everyone in the box.
Redditch hammered Evesham for the rest of the half with Dudley-Toole, Joel Shambrook and Alex Cameron all having shots at close range, which were either blocked or held by the goalkeeper.
Eventually on the stroke of half-time, The Reds did get their second goal after a well worked move by King allowed Tyler Bruck to lay off a trialist, who smashed it off the underside of the bar.
Within four minutes of the second half, Redditch would have a third goal after Shambrook drove down the right and passed to King. He then whipped in a low cross which was finished off beautifully by Bruck at the far post.
The visitors would pull one back shortly after, when a corner was spilled by Neeson and Levi Steele was there to poach in the loose ball.

Steele was then played in behind almost instantly after the restart, but Neeson made up for his mistake with a good low save with his right foot.
In the 70th minute, Evesham came close to scoring again when they found themselves through on goal; Neeson made the save, but there was a mix-up at the back and Luke Ward cleared off the line at the last second before the ball could be tapped in.
Late on, Shambrook was also taken off whilst receiving treatment, before the referee would eventually blow for full-time.
