FIVE members of Evesham Archery Club took two golds, one silver and two bronze medals at the County of Worcester championships at the March Hare club’s Throckmorton field range.
Sixteen-year-old Sally Gilder never relinquished an early lead with a score of 247 to win the Open Lady’s Olympic (recurve) bow division. Her mother Sue Gilder took silver, followed in the bronze medal position by Linda Haines. A full set of medals for the Gilder family was completed by dad Mike taking bronze in the men’s Olympic bow, while Tazmin Pugh (pictured) won the junior female Olympic bow category with a score of 211. Evesham also won the team event from Malvern in second.
