EVESHAM United’s squad is likely to be unchanged for tomorrow’s trip to Cinderford Town (7.45) with Lewis Powell and Paul Fahy still sidelined.

The attacking duo were not involved in Saturday’s 2-0 triumph at Barnstaple Town with boss Paul Collicutt pessimistic about the prospect of either returning as the Robins look to boost their promotion push in Gloucestershire.

“Lewis was not involved after his thigh tightened up at Yate the Saturday before,” said Collicutt.

“Paul still has a fair amount of discomfort in his shoulder having damaged the ligaments so it looks like we will be without both again.”

Victory would move sixth-placed Evesham up to fourth in Southern League West.

Seven teams are within six points of United in that final play-off spot but of those teams only Didcot Town play a midweek league fixture.

  • STOURPORT Swifts and Bromsgrove Sporting face off for a place in the Worcestershire FA Senior Urn final at Walshes Meadow.

Both will look to get over the heartache of having their Wembley dreams dashed in the FA Vase on Saturday.

The winners will face Midland Football League Premier Division rivals Lye Town, conquerors of Littleton in the last four, in the showpiece.

  • HEREFORD FC will bid to seize second spot in the Southern League Premier Division when hosting Bishop’s Stortford at Edgar Street.

A win would see the Bulls overtake Weymouth and at the very least keep pace with table-toppers King’s Lynn who travel to rock-bottom Gosport Borough.

Peter Beadle’s side hope for a favour from Redditch United who travel to another promotion contender Slough Town.
