EVESHAM Rugby Club will look to return to winning ways when they host fellow strugglers Nuneaton Old Edwardians in Midlands Two West (South) on Saturday (2.15pm).

The Lower Albert Road outfit finished 2017 on a disappointing note having lost four games in a row.

The sorry run has seen them slip to third from bottom but they will hope the three-week break over the festive period will help to stop the rot.

Evesham now face Old Edwardians who are one place below them in the table after losing their past four matches.

But the Nuneaton side came out on top in their last meeting, winning 27-17 in September.

Pershore start 2018 with a trip to fifth-placed Coventry Welsh in Midlands Four West (South) on Saturday (2.15pm).

And the Mill Lane club will be aiming to gain revenge after being thumped 30-0 at home by Welsh earlier this season.

Pershore are in seventh position after winning four of their first 10 league games.
