ALAFOTI Faosiliva will make his first start since the opening match of the season in the European Challenge Cup Pool 2 match against Pau at the Stade du Hameau on Friday (kick-off 7.00pm GMT).

The Samoa international started against Wasps in the Gallagher Premiership on September 1 but then suffered a calf injury against Newcastle when he came on as a replacement.

Faosiliva made his comeback as a replacement in the Premiership Rugby Cup match at Saracens last month and has now been named in an experienced starting XV as Warriors attempt to make it three straight wins in Europe.

Warriors will be captained by South Africa centre Wynand Olivier who will renew his centre partnership with Ollie Lawrence who returns after five weeks out with a leg injury.

Hooker Isaac Miller is in line to make his debut for Warriors as a replacement having recovered from a fractured collarbone sustained in the pre-season match at Benetton Rugby in August.

Centre Will Butler will make his first appearance of the season following an elbow injury if he comes off the bench.

Prop Jack Cosgrove, who has been signed from Bristol Bears on a contract until the end of the season, has also been named among the replacements.

Nine of Friday’s side started on Warriors’ last match in France, a 38-27 win over Stade Francais in Paris in October.
