WINGER Alex Hearle will make his first Gallagher Premiership appearance of the season when Worcester Warriors make the trip to London to face the in-form Harlequins at The Stoop on Saturday (kick-off 5.00pm).

Hearle, who recently signed a contract extension, gets the nod out wide in the absence of the suspended Chris Ashton and the injured Tom Howe who took a bang to the hip during last week’s training match against Bristol Bears.

Perry Humphreys has recovered from the injury he sustained against Northampton Saints to start on the other wing.

Jamie Shillcock will start at full-back and South Africa international Francois Venter will partner Ollie Lawrence in the centre in the other changes to the back division that faced Northampton Saints in Warriors‘ last competitive match three weeks ago.

In the pack, Graham Kitchener returns to make his 99th appearance for the club and to form a new second row pairing with the impressive Joe Batley, who seems to be used in every position other than the front-row this season.

GJ van Velze will start at number eight with Cornell du Preez seemingly dropped from the squad. Tom Dodd starts on the bench.

Tighthead prop Richard Palframan and lock Anton Bresler have recovered from injuries and have been named among the replacements along with Warriors' new loan signing Harri Doel who is set to make his Premiership debut.

Doel, 20, has been signed on loan from Scarlets having also represented Wales Under-20s and played for Llandovery and Swansea University.

As for the hosts, they have named a strong side with all their big hitters back. They return to the side that almost beat Bristol Bears a few weeks back as Tom Lawday replaces James Chisholm in the back-row.
