COTSWOLD entrepreneur Tabitha James-Kraan has won a major international award for her beauty products.
The Stow-based businesswoman took the best haircare product at the Natural Health International Beauty Awards 2015 at Excel in London.
Mrs James-Kraan started her organic hair salon in Broadway in 1993 and moved to larger premises in Stow on the Wold in 2009, from which she successfully launched her own, British made, high performance, organic hair product range a year ago. This now consists of seven products, with new developments on the way. It was the organic dry shampoo that won at Excel.
Mrs James-Kraan said: "It has been a vision of mine for a decade to create my own collection of organic products, and for the last three years, the dream has gradually taken on reality as I've worked with the lab, pushing the boundaries of hair alchemy, to create a range of products that meets my exacting standards. The result is a range of the purest, cleanest, most organic hair products possible that work in harmony with the hair and the scalp."
Already recognised by the industry, the dry shampoo won the Janey Lee Grace Platinum Award 2014 and more recently the Natural Health International Beauty Award 2015. The scented organic hair oil was the finalist in the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2015.
