A HOST of big comedy names, local shows and great drama are coming to Evesham Arts Centre next year.

The spring 2013 programme includes tour stops from comedians Jim Davidson and Marcus Brigstock in March and April, while Evesham's regular stand-up comedy is back on February 15 with top club comics Andrew Bird, Juliet Myers, Chris Turner and Tudur Owens.

Also in February, the accomplished musicians of GaGa are back to rock the theatre with their Queen tribute.

In contrast, Evesham Music Club presents the Aurora Wind Ensemble and the Florin Ensemble in March and April, while the skills of the young musicians of Prince Henry's High School are on show on April.

The cast of the Phoenix Theatre Group will take to the stage in January for their 2013 pantomime Mother Goose.

Prince Henry's High School stage The Taming of the Shrew in March and EODS present the magical Disney show Beauty and the Beast.

There will also be theatre performances by Madcap Theatre in Little Grimley's Trouble Tripled and Vamos Theatre return with their new show Finding Joy.

Between January and April, Evesham Decorative & Fine Arts Society will present expert talks on the art of Botticelli, the rags-toriches- to-rags story of the scandalous Lady Emma Hamilton and London's Livery Companies.
