THE Livestock Festival has announced "The Fratellis" as its headline act for Saturday July 30.

The world-famous indie rock band will travel to Manor Farm, Longdon, near Tewkesbury, where they will join chart toppers including Reef, Jason Donovan, Reverend & The Makers and Chesney Hawkes, among and exciting line-up, as the festival makes a hotly anticipated return this summer.

Livestock Festival Founder, Ben Leeke said: "Crowds are expected to flock to what promises to be a highlight of the South West festival season.

“We’re overjoyed to be welcoming The Fratellis to Livestock 2016. We cannot wait to see the critically acclaimed trio perform their smash hits Chelsea Dagger, Whistle For The Choir and many more. The line up is shaping up to include some of the latest and greatest hits of the last 30 years – plenty of new material with a touch of nostalgia too. Livestock 2016 is certainly going to be a fantastic weekend not to be missed”

Veteran headliners of Glastonbury and V Festival, The Fratellis are a firm festival favourite.

The band joins Livestock fresh from their UK tour and debut shows in Russia.

With four best selling albums and countless tours under their belt, The Fratellis "combine their cult status with a renewed vibrancy".

On stage at Livestock, The Fratellis will perform material from their new album, Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied, along with classics from their extensive back catalogue.

Livestock Festival promises "an electric atmosphere to accompany the energy of the Main Stage, set against the backdrop of the stunning Malvern Hills".

Livestock Festival will take place at Manor Farm, Longdon from Friday July 29 to Sunday July 31. Tickets are on sale now.
