ORGANISERS of the second Livestock Festival, which took place last weekend, are hailing it as a great success.

More than 4,500 people descend on Manor Farm in Longdon, near Tewkesbury, to see a line-up which included Chesney Hawkes, Jason Donovan, The Fratellis, Reverend and The Makers and Reef on the main stage.

Ben Leeke, Livestock Festival Founder, said: “What an incredible second year for Livestock Festival.

"We doubled our numbers on last year and welcomed over 4,500 people. Such a brilliant figure for a festival that’s only in it’s second year. We couldn’t have wished for better weather and throughout the weekend the fields were filled with families and festivalgoers enjoying the epic line up.

"Our headliners truly pulled out all the stops on all three nights and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making Livestock 2016 as fantastic as it was. After a long nights sleep, we’ll all be putting our heads together to make Livestock 2017 even better so watch this space.”
