County Ground, Hove, Saturday, June 23

Get ready to party All Night Long as Welsh legend, icon and superstar Lionel Richie gets set for his long awaited appearance at the County Ground in Hove. With a plethora or hits to get you moving, it’s set to be two hours of absolute bedlam. Expect underwear thrown on stage, high pitched screams and raucous behaviour...and that’s just from the older members of the audience. Just don’t try dancing on the ceiling because, well, as you might expect at a cricket ground, there isn’t one.

The Case of the Frightened Lady

Theatre Royal, Brighton, June 25 to 30

Now, Monday isn’t the only chance you’ll get to check out this play, so if you can’t make it don’t fret. As with many plays, all in this show is not as it seems. It all begins when Inspector Tanner is sent to investigate a murder at Mark’s Priory. Unsurprisingly, as Tenner gets closer to an answer he uncovers a shocking discovery about the home’s owners, the Lebanon family.

Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown

Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar, Monday, June 25

Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee - there seems to be a lot of Nashville based bands visiting at the moment, I wonder what the pull is - Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown play good, old-fashioned, hard hitting rock ‘n’ roll. Of course there is that signature country twang that you’ll associate with the mid and southern states of the USA, but these guys aren’t meant to be taken lightly.

DoppelDanger

Marlborough Pub and Theatre, Brighton, Thursday, June 28

Having spent years being mistaken for one another, Eugenie and Shamira - who are real life doppelgangers - decided to make a show about it. In this gothic-inspired show, the two women show what it means to own their own identities. It’s part music, part stage show and all a bit crazy to be honest. Together the girls make She Goat. If you like a gig that’s eclectic, bizarre and just something a little bit different then I highly recommend seeing double at this show.
