A MAN accused of trying to hide drugs when police stopped a van near Cleeve Prior is due back in court.
Tristan Welsh, aged 32, of the Poplars, Bidford, pleaded guilty to obstructing the police trying to search a vehicle for drugs when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Sarah Stock, prosecuting, said Welsh was a passenger in a van seen by police near Cleeve Prior on October 11, which was suspected to be involved in drug dealing.
She said Welch was seen to “discard” something which was not found.
Welsh, who has already been convicted of a separate drugs charge, was released on bail and is due back at Warwick Crown Court on November 13 to be sentenced for both charges.
