A VALE village will hold a Christmas festival for the first time this year.
Offenham’s Christmas Tree Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, at St Marys and St Milburgh Church.
It will be full of trees decorated by people from different organisations and visitors will be able to vote for their favourite tree. There will also be a chance to bid to take a tree home, with all money going to the church.
The village Christmas Craft and Art Fair will also take place on Saturday, December 1, with money raised going towards the village hall restoration. On show will be a wide range of locally made crafts and art, including paintings and cards, handmade scarves and gloves, stained glass, tiaras, headbands, and many other christmas gifts.
Tea and coffee and festive mince pies can also to be enjoyed while the children enjoy their own christmas activities. Entry will cost £2 to allow access to both events.
